What does it mean? Well it is a way to one legalize sin. Two it allows to people of the same gender that have affection for each other share the same rights as married heterosexuals. Is it morally right? No. Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Those are only a few scriptures that talk about homosexuals. What you can conclude with that is that God condemns it. What should Christians do about the Gay Marriage debate? We should oppose it, we may know some people that are homosexuals but we should not be rude to them. We should love them as Christ would. We should be a witness to them and show Christ in our life.
I personally do not agree with gay marriage. Why would it need to be legalized? Whether it is legal or not they will still participate in the relationship why would they need to get married?
